Privacy Notice - Team Work Survey

1. Who we are
WOW Events ("we", "us") runs this survey and is the Data Fiduciary for the personal data collected through it under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act"). Contact for all privacy matters: hr@wowevents.in.
2. What personal data we collect
- Your full name and designation.
- Your answers to the survey questions (about your work, learning and communication preferences) and the team-work style scores calculated from them.
- The date and time you gave consent and the version of this notice you agreed to.
- For security only: your IP address and the time of key actions (consent, submission, deletion, rights requests), kept in a security log.
3. Why we use it
- To calculate and show you your team-work style profile.
- To share your profile with our HR and management team so we can understand team dynamics and plan team-work and team-building activities.
- To keep the service secure, detect misuse and investigate any data breach.
We process your data on the basis of your consent. We do not sell your data, use it for advertising, or use it to make automated decisions about you.
4. Who receives it
- The WOW Events HR and management team, who receive your results by email.
- Service providers that process data on our behalf under contract: our email provider (Google Gmail / Google Workspace) and our web hosting and database provider. Some of these may store data outside India, as permitted by the DPDP Act.
- Authorities, where the law requires it.
5. How long we keep it
Survey data (name, designation, answers, results) is deleted automatically 12 months after you take the survey, or earlier if you withdraw consent. Emailed copies of results are deleted by the recipients within the same period. Security logs are kept for one year, as required by the DPDP Rules, 2025, and then deleted.
6. Your rights
- Withdraw consent at any time. This is as easy as giving it: use the "Withdraw consent & delete my data" button on the results page, or the data rights form. Withdrawal does not affect processing done before it.
- Access a summary of your personal data and how it is processed.
- Correct, complete, update or erase your personal data.
- Nominate another person to exercise your rights if you die or become incapacitated.
- Grievance redressal: raise a complaint with us. We will respond as soon as possible and within 90 days at the latest.
- Complain to the Data Protection Board of India if you are not satisfied with our response, after first using our grievance process.
7. Children
This survey is only for people aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
8. Security
We protect your data with encrypted (HTTPS) connections, restricted access, and security logging. If a personal data breach occurs, we will inform you and the Data Protection Board of India as the DPDP Act requires.
9. Changes
If we change this notice, we will update the version date above. If a change affects how your data is used, we will ask for your consent again.
